Verity UpTown – stylish building located approximately 1 kilometer from the Market Square in Wrocław – a new project of Verity Development.
Verity UpTown was designed by a Wrocław based architectural studio Maćków Pracownia Projektowa. The concept design assumes construction of a modern residential complex which will blend in with the historic architecture of the neighborhood. The 19th century tenement houses which used to form the cityscape were destroyed during the Second World War. This part of Wrocław is currently undergoing revitalization project.
The project is divided into two wings – the northern wing off Śrutowa street and southern wing off Drobnera street. The materials used for construction – hand made brick, natural stone, glass and aluminum elements will underlie the style and modern concept design of this project. The variety of elevation layers will accentuate division of the building into three function zones. The retail and services zone located on the groundfloor will have floor to ceiling window display; the residential zone elevation will be finished with clinker brick whereas the top levels elevation will be made of natural wood veneer panels in order to make it resemble a wooden detached house.
The building will accommodate 65 apartments with floor area ranging from 45 to 120 sqm. The top floor two-level apartments will comprise terraces with elements of greenery. Big wooden French windows will allow significant day light. In order to ensure privacy to the future residents of the building, the residential and commercial zones will be accessed through separate entries. The residential zone will be accessed through four entries from the backyard area.
The completion date of the project is planned for the 3rd quarter of 2010. The total sellable area amounts to 4377,30 sqm.
